Our Assistant Operations Managers enjoy an average compensation of $20-$26/hr, which includes a base salary along with unlimited commissions and bonuses. JOB OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in achieving their objectives. You will assist in maintaining a pristine facility, ensure team members remain focused, and strive to uphold exceptional sales and customer service standards.

*Staff scheduling is rotated*

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Assistant Manager and Store Manager with cleaning, training, customer service, and other assigned duties.
  • Address or escalate customer service concerns promptly.
  • Support company marketing initiatives using approved messaging and visual displays.
  • Learn to establish and follow up on shift goals, then coach and train others on sales expectations.
  • Maintain strong sales performance and lead by example.
  • Report and address employee issues with upper management (e.g., tardiness, dress code, unprofessional behavior).
  • Participate in company meetings and assist in communicating corporate content to store associates (promotions, policies, etc.).
  • Contribute to the preparation of store meetings; be willing to conduct training/coaching segments during these meetings.
  • Share the responsibility of covering uncovered shifts, including weekends, holidays, or days off.
  • Monitor customer traffic to assess staffing needs; inform the store manager when overstaffed.
  • Conduct bi-monthly inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the inventory controller.
  • Attend weekly management meetings to review performance metrics, store operations, and strategies.
  • Report and follow through on maintenance issues.
  • Ensure overall store cleanliness and check daily tasks while on shift.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic grammar, math, and computer skills.
  • 1 year of experience in a shift lead/keyholder/supervisor role, or at least 6 months of employment with Beaches.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work 30 hours per week, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical demands: this position involves constant movement, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, and bending to clean tanning beds for up to 8 hours at a time.
