Responsibilities:
Conducts comprehensive Quality Assurance activities for the logistics operations.
o The primary responsibility includes executing quality assurance tasks such as incoming inspections, initial product evaluations, and assessments of returned items.
o Validate incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement assessments, and rejecting non-compliant items.
o Process returns for rework, including Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA), ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
o Record and update inspection outcomes by preparing detailed reports and logs.
o Liaise with product planners, engineers, and suppliers to discuss product validation processes.
o Supervise the reprogramming of circuit boards for thermal products.
o Design and manage product packaging and work instructions for DC & AC Power and Thermal products, ensuring the safety and protection of products and field technicians; proficiency in using hand tools and power drills for custom crating is essential.
o Monitor, communicate, and enhance key supply chain performance indicators, including On-Time Delivery (OTD).
o Address supplier technical challenges promptly to maintain supply chain continuity.
Lead initiatives for process, product, and systematic continuous improvement; apply Six Sigma methodologies, delegate project tasks, and utilize the stages of Six Sigma or DMAIC to achieve project goals.
Ensure that corrective actions and communications regarding technical issues and shipping discrepancies are clear, concise, and easily comprehensible.
Oversee and maintain the company's quality audit programs for age-sensitive and date-coded products.

Qualifications:
Strong understanding of quality assurance, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Experience with supply chain initiatives is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar capacity is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Smart Sheet is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with MRP and EDI systems, preferably Oracle.
Proficient in using Minitab and other statistical tools and methodologies.
Capability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and maintain mobility through walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
