Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
    • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images, collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve accurate diagnoses.
    • Review and document patient results, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of procedures and results.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Quality Assurance
    • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
    • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and quality improvement strategies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Graduate of an accredited RT or Medical Sonography program.
    • Current ARRT certification and/or Medical Sonography with registry eligibility.
  • Experience
    • One year of ultrasound experience, with a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles and practices.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with Insight Global Healthcare, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including emergency department, inpatient, and special procedures patients, as well as outpatient patients.
