Position Overview

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:
This position supports the Claims Support & Systems Specialist by executing a range of task-oriented functions essential for a comprehensive and efficient investigation of each account. Claims Support representatives operate under the direct oversight of the Operations Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establishing new claims with insurance providers.
  • Gathering necessary documentation from client systems.
  • Analyzing payments received from insurance carriers on behalf of clients.
  • Identifying and obtaining contact details for relevant insurance carriers/adjusters.
  • Preparing, printing, and sending outbound correspondence.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Interest in the healthcare or insurance sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proper grammar.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications and PDF documents.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Willingness to work the necessary hours to complete assigned tasks.
  • Capability to perform repetitive motions in a sedentary work environment.
