About the Role

As a Claims Investigation Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our subrogation team by completing various task-oriented activities required for efficient and thorough investigation of the subrogation file.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up new claims with adverse carriers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Obtain file supports from third parties, including police reports and citation outcomes, to support claims investigation.
  • Identify and secure adverse insurance carrier/adjuster contact information to facilitate communication and resolution.
  • Perform scanning, printing, and mailing of outbound correspondence, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and PDF documents, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
