Crawford & Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Investigation Intern to join our team. As a Claims Investigation Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our subrogation team by completing various task-oriented activities required for efficient and thorough investigation of the subrogation file.
Key Responsibilities- Set up new claims with adverse carriers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Obtain file supports from third parties, including police reports and citation outcomes, to support claims investigation.
- Identify and secure adverse insurance carrier/adjuster contact information to facilitate communication and resolution.
- Perform scanning, printing, and mailing of outbound correspondence, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Assist with other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and PDF documents, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
