We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Technician to provide essential support and administrative services at our office. Your expertise and professionalism are vital to our operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Support Technician:
  • Engage in effective communication (both verbal and written) with all center staff, clients, and the public, fostering a professional and customer-oriented environment.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule and reschedule appointments for primary care and behavioral health providers, and route messages appropriately.
  • Handle patient co-pays and payments during registration, along with general cashier responsibilities.
  • Retrieve medical records from external providers and establish medical record charts for new patients, while adhering to Meridian's policies on information release.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: Two years of secretarial or office experience.
  • Strongly preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to perform data entry and telephone tasks.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
