Job Summary:

CMP is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to oversee the operations of our 24-hour departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our staff provide high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care to our members. You will develop and maintain clinical standards of care and practice, manage budgets, and lead a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our 24-hour departments, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Establish and maintain patient care and service standards to meet the needs of our members and internal clients.
  • Design and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for the appropriate use of human and material resources, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality of care.
  • Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring ongoing staff development and competency.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies and procedures to support the organization's goals and business objectives.
  • Oversee and develop standards of care and standards of practice, directing fiscal management and quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum four (4) years of clinical nursing experience related to the clinical area of specialization, including four (4) years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Nursing earned through a direct entry MSN program.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire, with Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of management experience, with a focus on clinical operations and patient care services.
  • One (1) year of Magnet/shared governance experience, with a focus on nursing leadership and quality improvement.
  • One (1) year of managing in a bargaining environment, with a focus on labor relations and employee engagement.
  • Masters degree in Nursing or a related field, with a focus on healthcare leadership and management.
