Radiation Oncology Technologist

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
Job SummaryThis is a PRN opportunity for a skilled Radiation Therapist to work with our experienced team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and be able to simulate treatment set-ups, perform dosimetric calculations, and deliver precise radiation therapy treatments.
Responsibilities- Simulate treatment set-ups according to physician instruction
- Perform dosimetric calculations under the supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist
- Accurately deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy
- Assist in brachytherapy procedures
- Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology
- Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T) or temporary certification for recent graduates
- Licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT)
As a Radiation Therapist at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center, you can expect a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
