About the Role:

This Clinical Radiation Oncology Specialist position at Veracity is responsible for simulating treatments, performing dosimetric calculations, and delivering radiation therapy. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Radiation Therapy Technology, ARRT-T certification, and Texas licensure. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Simulate treatment set-ups according to physician instruction.
  • Perform dosimetric calculations under supervision.
  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy accurately.
  • Organize daily workflow for therapists.
  • Advise physicians of undelivered treatments.
  • Report accidents, complaints, and treatment variances.
  • Schedule and implement weekly chart rounds.
  • Collaborate with management on technical positioning enhancements.
  • Ensure safe patient care and adhere to Veracity policies.
  • Promote individual growth and development through education and skills competency.
  • Model Veracity's service standards by providing compassionate and personalized experiences.
