Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team at Metro Contract Services. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

  • You will work closely with management to advise on repair options and costs, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $70,000-$90,000 based on experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and repairing diesel engines, as well as standard engines.
  • Performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks, including oil and tire rotations/changes, transmission flushes, air condition re-charges, front-end alignment, battery installations and headlight/taillight repair, etc.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong understanding of diesel engine technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
