Diesel Mechanic Technologist with Fleet Maintenance Expertise

Torque by Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technologist to join our team in Madison, WI. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines
- Collaborate with customers to facilitate issue resolution and discuss new repair estimates
- Coordinate work schedules and ensure quality of repair work performed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certification preferred
- Basic tools required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $30-$34 per hour based on experience
- Sign-on bonus: $1500 paid after 30 days and $1500 paid after 90 days
- Additional performance incentives paid every month

Additional Information
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
- Non-commercial driver's license Class E preferred
- Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles
This is a full-time position that requires regular travel (more than 60% of the time).
