Job Overview

Distribution Center Operations
Bosch is a leader in the Automotive Aftermarket, offering an extensive range of products and components for braking systems and consumable parts.

Operate powered industrial vehicles and various material handling equipment on a daily basis. Utilize handheld RF scanners regularly. Exercise sound judgment to adhere to established protocols and procedures, making minor decisions as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 6S principles. Promptly report any damage to equipment or facilities. Carry out additional tasks as assigned. Engage in multiple activities related to the shipping, receiving, and storage of parts and materials. Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy in materials and quantities, packaging, and loading onto trucks. Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify completeness and condition of items. Document shipments and maintain necessary records, moving materials to designated storage areas. Prevent damage to equipment and materials through careful handling and inspection. Uphold a safety-first mindset to avoid injuries, given the potential hazards of the work environment. Take responsibility for personal work quality and productivity. Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks. Engage in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Apply basic arithmetic skills for tasks involving calculations and data interpretation.

Workplace Considerations:

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, with potential for overtime and Saturday shifts as needed. Ability to lift products/materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Required to stand, walk, and bend as necessary to complete job responsibilities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 6 months experience operating forklifts. Required Forklift Types: Order Picker/Cherry Picker.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Fixed Mast Reach Trucks. OSHA certification for powered industrial trucks. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Competent computer skills and keyboard proficiency. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with warehouse management systems such as SAP.

Salary Range:

The base hourly wage for this full-time role is $. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including work experience, job knowledge, role complexity, and location.
