Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Under general supervision, the CT Imaging Specialist will operate Cat Scan machinery, position patients for diagnostic imaging, and perform associated tasks. Essential skills include imaging for various medical conditions such as cardiovascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal.

Licensure and Certifications Required:

  • Certification from the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT (R) Registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

Preferred Skills:

  • ARRT (CT) Credential
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, radiographic methods, and radiation safety
  • Capability to assess exposure parameters and analyze radiographs
  • Proficient and safe operation of Cat Scan equipment
  • Willingness to innovate techniques and stay informed on industry advancements
