We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Engineer to join our team at the Bosch Group. As a key member of our Mobility Aftermarket team, you will play a critical role in delivering process definition, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Process Ownership: Responsible for all procedures, work instructions, and documents related to internal logistics applicable to material flow between cross-dock and Bosch manufacturing sites.
- Service Improvement: Identify and deliver service improvement activities across the business through the application of process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.
- LEAN Facilitation: Lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
- Process Optimization: Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system.
- Strategy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of a 'best-in-class' continuous improvement strategy.
- Process Change Management: Define requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
- Process Support: Work with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
- Risk Management: Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
- Project Management: Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on, and managed at all times.
- Post-Implementation Review: Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
- Warehouse Layout Optimization: Responsible for generating layout proposals within the warehouses to improve processes, flows, and operations, in compliance with ergonomics and traffic flow standards to mitigate any security risk.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
- Certification: Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping; excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
