Key Responsibilities- Capital Project Planning: Develop and implement plans for capital projects that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Create and manage operating and capital budgets to ensure that projects are completed within established parameters.
- Facilities Development: Develop goals and standards for facilities development that promote the highest quality of care.
- Project Scheduling: Plan and coordinate project schedules to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to other hospital departments on facilities development and project management.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate the organization's philosophy, goals, and standards to design consultants and contractors, and ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Track project costs and evaluate the effectiveness of capital projects to ensure that they meet the organization's objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with basic management experience.
- Certifications and Registrations: Registration or certification in a relevant field is a plus, but not required.
