Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payables Coordinator and Credit Management Officer to join our team at Avions de Transport Regional (ATR) GIE. This role will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization, as well as negotiating and managing payment arrangements with debtors to recover amounts outstanding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization.
  • Negotiate and manage payment arrangements with debtors to recover amounts outstanding.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices, and ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Issue stop-payments or purchase order amendments as necessary.
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports.
  • Maintain historical records and respond to vendor inquiries regarding accounting.
  • Report sales taxes by calculating applicable amounts on paid invoices.
  • Continuing to improve the payment process, particularly in SAP cockpit.
  • Perform month-end closing tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with 2 years of job experience.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and employees of the organization and build trustful relationships.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in SAP R/3 Modules FI/CO.
  • Very good MS Office and PC skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
