Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Client Manager to become a vital part of our Property & Casualty team. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to assess the needs and risks of our existing clients, assist in crafting tailored insurance programs, and enhance client relationships through professional technical expertise.

  • Understand client business operations and effectively communicate their needs to relevant insurance carriers.
  • Support the sales team in marketing new and renewal property/casualty insurance programs, aligning with established agency goals.
  • Independently manage daily client service tasks, including renewal marketing and addressing client inquiries promptly.

Client Service Duties:
Deliver exceptional customer service and partner effectively with clients by:

  • Tracking renewal deadlines and ensuring timely completion.
  • Reviewing existing insurance policies and assessing future client needs.
  • Evaluating and recommending suitable insurance options.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with clients to address concerns and explore service enhancement opportunities.

Account Administration:
Take ownership of client accounts by:

  • Participating in pre-renewal meetings and collaborating with team members.
  • Marketing renewal policies and negotiating with underwriters.
  • Ensuring accuracy in client information and documentation.

Technical Responsibilities:
Manage complex insurance plans, including:

  • Claims-made policies and loss-sensitive funding plans.
  • Interpreting policy provisions and developing endorsements to address coverage issues.

Sales and Marketing Duties:
Engage in the sales process by:

  • Identifying optimal markets for new and renewal accounts.
  • Preparing submissions and negotiating premiums with carriers.
  • Exploring opportunities for additional insurance lines and agency services.

Team Collaboration:
Coordinate client service responsibilities with team members, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of property casualty coverages.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred. An active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license is necessary or must be obtained within three months of hire. A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, underwriting, or risk management within the insurance sector is essential.
