Senior Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare team at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support our business area.
Key Responsibilities- Determine requirements for products or systems based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
- Decide how to capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Document and retrieve the source of requirements.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.
- Assess the impact of requirement changes on the overall system and subsystems and track and control implemented changes.
- Selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain special access program (SAP) clearance.
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience.
- Experience preparing and leading teams to support system lifecycle and product maturity (design reviews, internal gate reviews).
- Experience with requirements management and developing Systems Engineering products, such as System-level specifications, requirements allocation spreadsheets, or verification cross-reference matrices.
- Active and transferable Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Experienced presenter preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and written.
- Experience with Modeling and Simulation, agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines, software development principals, Digital Thread concepts and realization in the development lifecycle.
- Experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
- Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
