Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Advanced Airborne Radio Frequency department, you will play a critical role in developing innovative and cost-effective Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine product or system requirements based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
  • Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
  • Document and retrieve the source of requirements.
  • Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program.
  • Assess requirement changes for impact to the overall system and subsystems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience.
  • Experience with system lifecycle and product maturity.
  • Requirements management and/or developing Systems Engineering products.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experienced presenter preparing and presenting reports and briefings.
  • Experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
