Job Title: Principal Systems Engineering Consultant

At RTX, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineering Consultant to join our Advanced Airborne Radio Frequency department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support the Electronic Warfare business area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain system-level specifications, requirements allocation spreadsheets, and verification cross-reference matrices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.
  • Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program.
  • Selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain special access program (SAP) clearance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience.
  • Experience with requirements management and/or developing Systems Engineering products.
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital thread concepts.
  • Experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
