Position Title: Nursery Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Nursery Coordinator to manage the administrative functions of our native plant nursery, focusing on wholesale transactions, procurement, and plant marketing. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, organized, and possess a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while identifying upselling opportunities during sales interactions.
  • Manage incoming plant sales inquiries and assist customers effectively.
  • Prepare purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and process invoices for payment.
  • Coordinate the logistics of plant deliveries.
  • Generate invoices and oversee accounts receivable.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal staff.
  • Perform clerical tasks within the nursery office.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is essential.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a plant nursery is required.
  • Understanding of inventory management, purchase orders, receiving, and billing processes is necessary.
  • Basic accounting principles knowledge is essential.
