Job Summary

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the public areas of the hotel. This includes cleaning and setting up meeting rooms, delivering service items to guest rooms, and driving shuttle vans when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean and buff floors daily, shampoo carpets and furniture as needed, and maintain public restrooms.
  • Handle luggage assistance and provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow associates, and self.
  • Handle lost and found items and turn in keys and assignment sheets at the end of the shift.
  • Complete daily assignment checklists and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record).
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
