Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Comprehensive Oversight Reviews to ensure compliance with governmental and contractual requirements.
- Lead or assist with Special Assignment, Technical Assistance, and Corrective Action Support tasks to identify and address risks in the management of public transit.
- Draft reports and technical memoranda to present solutions to identified concerns and explain complex topics to non-expert audiences.
- Assist with the development of program and training content in alignment with FTA policy and guidance.
- Participate in conference calls, meetings, and conferences as needed to provide expertise and support.
- Attend and provide expertise during recipient workshops to ensure successful execution of all work assignments.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Minimum of 5-years of professional substantive experience, including progressively responsible compliance testing and/or audit role(s) related to compliance with governmental or contractual requirements.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and training skills and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks, verify compliance, and present solutions to identified concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex topics to non-expert audiences and write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion.
- Positive attitude and critical thinking skills.
- Accountable for actions and customer service mentality.
- Ability to separate the issue/problem from the person and work independently and as a team member.
