Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Foundation's conservation award-making activities by focusing on compliance and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve applicant budgets to ensure compliance with Foundation, funding source, and OMB requirements.
  • Assess financial stability and risk of applicants, working with Grant Administrators and program staff as necessary.
  • Develop and review grants management system generated reports related to grantee funding eligibility, organizational risk, and financial management.
  • Solicit and review 2 CFR 200 Subpart F audits for subrecipients with active Foundation grants.
  • Provide compliance administration of potential protests and disputes, amendments, and close out procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Finance or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of experience focused on federal fiscal compliance in a nonprofit setting.
  • Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and respective impacts on nonprofit financial and operation management.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts, including risk assessments, subrecipient monitoring, and internal controls.
