IRB Compliance Specialist

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group PC invites applications for an IRB/Compliance Specialist to join our Legal department. This is a full-time opportunity that is fully remote. Candidates must reside in Washington, Maryland, or Virginia, or be willing to relocate to one of these states.
About the Role:
The IRB/Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to medical research. This includes reviewing and approving research protocols, ensuring informed consent, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve research protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure informed consent is obtained from participants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research activities
- Collaborate with researchers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Reside in Washington, Maryland, or Virginia, or be willing to relocate to one of these states
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to medical research
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
