Job Title: Roving Maintenance Technician

Insite Property Solutions is seeking a skilled Roving Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance support to our portfolio of Apartment Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including cleaning, painting, and general repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing maintenance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties.
  • Initiate, perform, and manage maintenance projects, including cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of maintenance and custodial issues.
  • Perform walk-through inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor to order and manage maintenance supplies within budget.
  • Obtain and review competitive bids for outside contract services.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies to ensure prompt repair and replacement of various items.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Address and follow up on resident work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Enter completed work order information into YARDI daily.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of residential/multifamily property maintenance experience.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and achieve high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle liability insurance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical ability to complete all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to pass criminal and drug screenings.
