Job Title: Behavior Direct Support Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Direct Support Professional to provide support to program participants, ensuring their needs are met, and creating a nurturing, safe, and healthful living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to program participants, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs.
  • Assist participants with accessing the community, including transportation and arranging for transportation.
  • Ensure participants are treated with dignity and consideration, promoting and safeguarding their ability to make decisions and exercise their rights.
  • Interact with participants, provide informal counseling, and problem-solving.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and development sessions.
  • Monitor medication regimes and treatment compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing program development and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain an NAR within 90 days of hire.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Washington State driver's license.
