Experienced Senior Living Culinary Specialist

As a valued member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes the dignity and individuality of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of all food items, adhering to specified production amounts, recipes, and procedures.
- Ensure timely preparation of meals, utilizing batch cooking and cook-to-order methods to maintain freshness.
- Prepare food products with a focus on Food Safety, ensuring that dietary requirements are met while preserving nutrients.
- Participate in regular dining services meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen sanitation and safety, including:
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment before and after use.
- Following proper food handling and storage procedures in accordance with company and state guidelines.
- Documenting temperature charts and records as per company policy.
- Completing assigned cleaning tasks to meet compliance and sanitary standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-quality food preparation.
- Experience in scratch cooking within a high-volume, fine dining environment.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Outlook and Word.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in food preparation.
- High School diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent preferred.
The compensation for this role will vary based on qualifications, experience, and education.
