Fundraising Manager, The Longest Day

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our The Longest Day campaign in Orange County. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and individuals to drive fundraising efforts and promote the Alzheimer's Association's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for The Longest Day campaign in Orange County, including identifying and cultivating new corporate and community partnerships.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support fundraising efforts and event planning.
- Collaborate with the Development Director to achieve fundraising goals and ensure alignment with the Association's overall development strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, community leaders, and individuals, to promote the Alzheimer's Association's mission and drive fundraising efforts.
- Develop and execute creative and engaging community outreach activities to promote The Longest Day campaign and the Alzheimer's Association's mission.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in volunteer committee development, fundraising, and event planning.
- Confident, goal-oriented, and positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory by car, with occasional overnight travel or air travel required.
- Competitive salary range: $68,000 - $73,000.
- Eligibility for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
