Sodexo is in search of an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for a prominent healthcare facility. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with strong computer proficiency, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, alongside exceptional interpersonal skills.
This managerial position will report to the Operations Manager and will supervise a dedicated team of 12-15 custodians during a mid-shift, approximately from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, including a rotation for weekends and vacations.
Our Sodexo Healthcare Environmental Services teams are committed to directing housekeeping operations at healthcare client locations, collaborating to deliver innovative solutions.
These teams are also responsible for enhancing client satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service through effective communication with all levels of hospital personnel, as well as ensuring follow-through on action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction. At Sodexo Healthcare, we prioritize creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for patients, which is essential to the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive client and patient satisfaction scores;
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while collaborating closely with the Infection Control department;
- Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.

- Have experience in leading, training, and managing a team, and can inspire and motivate a team to exceed client and customer service expectations;
- Possess a background in customer service and/or guest satisfaction within healthcare or hospitality settings;
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities and can work independently to drive programs;
- Monitor compliance and achieve project deadlines;
- Have a proven track record of managing projects effectively within established timelines;
- Are results-oriented and safety-conscious;
- Are proficient with technology and computer systems; and/or
- Are available to work a mid-shift schedule (approximately 12 PM to 8:30 PM) with a weekend and vacation rotation.
