RPS Custodial Services Relationship Manager

Old National Bank is seeking a highly skilled RPS Custodial Services Relationship Manager to join our team. This role will be a client-facing position accountable for the servicing and related operational aspects for ONB/1834's retirement plan services custodial & pension business. The RPS Custodial Services Relationship Manager will be the primary contact for our custodial clients to consult with and advise on ERISA specific items related to their plan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERISA guidelines and be able to communicate effectively with clients and internal partners. They will also have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Relationship Manager for retirement clients where Old National Bank serves as trustee/custodian for ERISA governed retirement plans, researching and responding to inquiries about their account.
  • Assist clients with fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities
  • Be a technical resource for retirement plans business which resides on our custodial platform, with a specific expertise in Pensions, Defined benefit, Taft Hartley plans, etc.
  • Develop relationships with clients, as well as wealth advisors, and banking partners to deliver exceptional service and holistic solutions to clients.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new custodial clients, gathering required documents, getting client accounts set up on the system
  • Lead projects related to the ONB custodial services business.
  • Ensure transactions and servicing of clients adheres to guidelines as defined by ERISA and other governing bodies (internal and external).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications and skills
  • Minimum of 5 years' related experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with Trust & Custodial business & retirement plans
  • In depth knowledge of ERISA guidelines
  • Proficient communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of audiences (internally and externally)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
