Job Summary

MetroPlusHealth is seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Medicare Telephonic Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our outreach team, you will play a critical role in providing education and assistance to Medicare individuals, promoting our Medicare product, and facilitating the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify prospective enrollees and determine eligibility for participation in MetroPlusHealth Plan's Medicare product.
  • Understand and apply all policies and procedures pertaining to disclosures, enrollment, and disenrollment.
  • Conduct telephonic and virtual visits to complete the enrollment process and provide personalized support to enrollees.
  • Market MetroPlusHealth Medicare line of business at virtual events and during telephonic conversations.
  • Educate enrollees on all aspects of the Plan, including covered benefits, non-covered benefits, exclusions, and exemptions.
  • Work closely with Outreach Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, Eligibility Representatives, and other MetroPlusHealth personnel to resolve member concerns and facilitate enrollments.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with facility and site staff, community and provider organizations, and City and State regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree or coursework preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Sales/Customer Relations experience required; Medicare Sales experience preferred.
  • Public speaking experience and excellent verbal and presentation skills necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills required.
  • Highly motivated and goal-directed individual with a strong ability to work in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural environment.
  • Must be sensitive to chronic conditions and disabilities.
  • Bi-Lingual and Multi-Lingual a plus.
Licensure and Certification
  • Must possess a valid NYS Life, Accident, and Health License at the time of employment.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License a plus.
