Lead Cardiovascular Services in a Dynamic Healthcare Environment

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Cardiovascular Services to join our esteemed healthcare organization in Austin, Texas.

This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and elevate our comprehensive cardiovascular services, including the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Echo Lab, and Cardiac Pre/Post Procedure Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and 24-hour oversight for all cardiovascular services
  • Manage and optimize operations for 1000+ EP procedures and CL procedures annually
  • Lead and develop a team of 50 FTEs across multiple cardiovascular departments
  • Collaborate with physicians and stakeholders to enhance patient care and service delivery
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions in cardiovascular care
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Current RN license or Licensed Technologist credential (RCIS, RT(R))
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular setting
  • At least 1 year of management experience in healthcare
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • ACLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures and technologies
