Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering Team in the Industrial Coating Systems division. The successful candidate will support the team in electrical component evaluations and selections, schematic captures, printed circuit board layouts, and release of custom products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the execution of small projects centered on product design, product enhancements, and supply chain initiatives.
  • Perform product maintenance and engineering changes in support of quality, manufacturing, and design improvements, and supply chain changes.
  • Develop and support components or sub-systems for new and existing products while working as a team member.
  • Perform calculations and analysis required for electronic designs at the component, circuit board, and sub-system level.
  • Work in a lab environment to support build and test designs for performance verification.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems to the component level.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of related engineering or internship/co-op experience.
  • Experience with industrial electrical components and electronics.
  • Ability to apply sound electrical engineering principles and practices in the design and verification of solutions.
  • Experience with electronic circuit schematic capture, circuit simulation (Spice), and PCB layout software.
  • Familiarity with Altium PCB layout software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical electrical engineering skills.
  • Self-motivated and possess a strong desire to grow and contribute.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Product Compliance, Certifications, and Regulations (REACH, RoHS, WEEE) knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with SAP or an ERP System preferred.
