As an IRA Compliance Coordinator for our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that project operations and site leaders comply with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) regulations, particularly concerning Apprenticeship Reporting and Prevailing Wages. You will collaborate closely with the HR department, vendors, and project teams to oversee IRA compliance. Your analytical skills will be essential as you provide management with audit information by researching data, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist multiple projects in meeting Apprenticeship and Prevailing Wage compliance standards.
  • Maintain essential tracking and reporting spreadsheets for each project.
  • Collaborate with HR and/or Workforce Specialists to facilitate any required NCCER testing (remote or onsite).
  • Work alongside Workforce Specialists and project teams to ensure accurate time coding within the record-keeping system.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain precise payroll and apprenticeship documentation.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of subcontractor payroll to verify accuracy.
  • Partner with the Payroll team to ensure correct reporting and coding.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation to support internal audits.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate leaders during payroll or apprenticeship record audits.
  • Utilize systems such as the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System (RAPIDS), National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Registry, and others to monitor apprentice progress.
  • Ensure timely and accurate audit information is reported to vendors, site leaders, or clients as required.
  • Participate in internal management meetings, providing updates as necessary.
  • Stay informed on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of apprentices as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in project management or coordination roles.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain NCCER Proctor certification.
  • Basic knowledge of data reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
