We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Assistant Professional to join our team at Merit Health River Oaks. As a Healthcare Assistant Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in providing direct patient care, including health teaching and age-specific needs assessment.
  • Deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service and participating in a team-centered approach towards patient care.
  • Verify patient demographics, patient record filing and retention, and verification of physician orders.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year experience in direct patient care.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • Currently certified as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body, BLS/CPR certification.
