A minimum of 1 year as an RN with recent experience in oncology is required. As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will integrate technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude to aid those living with cancer from diagnosis to survivorship or end-of-life care.

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications, fluids, and cancer treatments such as chemotherapy.
  • Collaborating with doctors and other clinicians to create individualized care plans.
  • Educating patients on the disease, proposed treatment plan, and possible side effects.
  • Recognizing and treating cancer-related issues.
