Job Description: Clinical Audiologist

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking an accomplished clinical audiologist to join our dynamic team at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of hearing healthcare through research and education.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including otoscopy, tympanometry, and pure-tone audiometry.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide clear explanations of test results and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure as an audiologist, with active certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in audiology, preferably in a hospital or academic setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
