Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist with the setup, execution, and cleanup of catered events. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and providing exceptional service to our patrons.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement safe food handling practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and serve food to event patrons, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Load and unload catering trucks, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of equipment and supplies.
  • Work required events and shifts as specified, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Bartender Specifics:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a current RAMP or TIPS certification.
  • Verify identification and age requirements for patrons, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages, including traditional mixed cocktails, wine bottle service, and champagne service.
  • Set up and tear down the bar, maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Marginal Functions:

  • Occasionally work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proactively anticipate items needed for various functions, ensuring seamless event execution.

Equipment Used:

  • Carts, food warmers, ice machine, beverage dispensers, and other food service equipment.
  • Utensils, dishes, and other necessary supplies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Some high school education or equivalent preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Employees must have been in possession of a valid operator's license for at least three years, with no interruptions or suspensions.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Walking, carrying, and sometimes working on uneven surfaces or up/down stairs.
  • Food handling and preparation.
  • Prolonged standing and bending.
  • Climbing in and out of trucks.
