Job Summary

As a highly skilled Account Claims Associate - Workers Compensation, you will play a critical role in investigating and managing medical only and limited lost time workers' compensation claims. Your expertise will be utilized to determine liability, secure information, and settle claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate claimant eligibility and communicate with attending physicians, employers, and injured workers to ensure seamless claim management.
  • Work closely with claimants and their physicians to medically manage claims from initial medical requests to ongoing medical information review and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with employers to facilitate a return to work on a full-time or modified duty basis, ensuring a smooth transition for injured workers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both customers and claimants through timely responses to inquiries, phone calls, and emails, while delivering on service commitments.
  • Manage both new and open claims with equal attention to detail and dedication.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to our company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards, and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and/or Workers Compensation is a plus.
  • License required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment in mandated states.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Computer literacy with good typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office) are required.
