The Maintenance Supervisor is a critical role within the Jelly Belly organization, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and repaired.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that downtime is minimized.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities and ensure that all expenses are properly tracked and reported.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets and track expenses.
The Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The position will require frequent travel to various facilities and equipment locations. The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols when performing maintenance activities.
