Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Jelly Belly. The successful candidate will be responsible for reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability by facilitating and championing the maintenance strategy of the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen incoming work orders, identify scopes of jobs, and analyze required levels of planning.
  • Manage data in and report from the plant CMMS system, including conversion of work requests to work orders, management of work backlogs, and creation of PM task lists and maintenance plans.
  • Closure of completed work orders and maintenance of all safety notifications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including estimating skills and labor hours needed to perform new work order requests and determining if work will be performed with internal resources or contracted to an outside vendor.
  • Assist in the failure analysis effort by helping implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of equipment failure and investigate the feasibility of redesigning systems with reoccurring equipment problems.
  • Maintain the plant Preventive Maintenance Program by predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling and ensure that warehouse stock items are available and reserved for planned jobs.
  • Participate in budget preparation and administration and fill in for Maintenance Supervisors as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance planning and coordination.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and experience in FMEA, RCFA.
  • Experience in utilizing CMMS systems preferred.
