Job Summary

KSI is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources/Safety Coordinator/Payroll Specialist to join our North Liberty office. This dynamic opportunity involves specializing in residential and commercial garage doors in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources, payroll processes, and have a keen eye for detail. With excellent communication skills, they will support and enhance human resources and safety processes in a collaborative environment.

This fast-paced position requires a proactive individual with a positive attitude who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. The successful candidate will focus on three key areas: Human Resources, Safety Coordination, and Payroll Management with an emphasis on employee relations and maintaining documentation processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage new hire and termination processes, including background checks and onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and requests.
  • Administer employee benefits and 401(k) programs, managing changes for new hires and terminations.
  • Record timesheet totals for payroll processing.
Safety Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate and track safety training programs, maintaining employee training records.
  • Process injury reports and assist in incident investigations.
Payroll Management Responsibilities
  • Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Review and reconcile timesheet data, addressing discrepancies with staff.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the payroll system.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management and related processes.
  • Proficient in safety and HR practices, employment law, and software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year based on experience.
