Job Description

Elderwood at North Creek seeks a highly skilled Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth and advancement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or Business is preferred, along with PHR Certification. Training or experience in HR processes is required.

This position involves recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. The successful candidate will be able to handle personnel situations with tact and discretion while maintaining confidentiality regarding applicants and staff information.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: source, interview, and onboard candidates; maintain accurate records; participate in marketing events.
  • Onboarding and Training: orient new hires; complete paperwork; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Administrative: obtain documentation; process payroll; maintain personnel records.
  • Payroll and Benefits: distribute benefit information; interpret policies; communicate with employees.
  • Unemployment and Workers Compensation: respond to claims; represent the company in hearings.
  • Employee Relations: triage employee concerns; escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or Business.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Training or experience in HR processes required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle personnel situations with tact and discretion.
