Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage capital project budgets and expenditures for the facility.
  • Act as the Project Lead, establishing timelines, coordinating support, and monitoring project progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Contractors and plant personnel, assisting with layouts and verifying existing and future utilities.
  • Organize and participate in safety meetings related to projects, enforcing safety protocols as necessary.
  • Coordinate utility work, including the relocation of existing utilities and the installation of new ones as required.
  • Maintain and enhance as-built drawings, ensuring proper drawing retention and version control for facilities, equipment, utilities, and property.
  • Undertake additional projects and assignments as required.

Expectations for All Team Members:

  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies regarding personnel, quality, safety, and food safety.
  • Foster a positive work environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership.
  • Engage in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, and support the E$P program.
  • Identify and respond to incidents and safety risks, consistently practicing and promoting safe work habits throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with above-average skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others to identify and leverage opportunities for successful change implementation.
