Nutrition Services Manager

The WelbeHealth PACE program is designed to assist seniors in maintaining their independence within their communities by offering comprehensive medical care and community-based services.
The Nutrition Services Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the WelbeHealth nutrition services program, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
This role involves delivering nutrition services, including assessments and counseling for participants, acting as a liaison between WelbeHealth and food and supplement service providers, crafting menus, and ensuring adherence to all kitchen and meal service regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nutrition assessments to identify the needs, preferences, and goals of participants, actively engaging in IDT meetings to formulate participant care plans.
Provide and document direct nutrition interventions in alignment with physician orders and/or as outlined in the participants' care plans, which may include implementing and monitoring specialized diets and offering nutrition counseling to participants and their families.
Oversee menu planning and meal delivery processes to guarantee compliance with safety and regulatory standards, ensuring participants receive the appropriate specified diets.
Lead the nutrition staff, including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring.
Facilitate the intake and enrollment process to ensure prospective participants navigate the enrollment process efficiently.
Job Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian with a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing nutrition services in a comparable environment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification is required.
Reliable transportation is necessary.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential when working with seniors, their families, and IDT members.
At least one (1) year of experience with frail or elderly populations is preferred.

Salary/Wage range for this position is $74,612.76—$89,535.31 annually + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a wide array of other benefits.
Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
