Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers in overseeing our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the determined budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Schedule and lead regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Assist in resource allocation, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to fulfill their roles.
  • Monitor and track project resource utilization to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, project schedules, and status reports.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify and assess potential risks to project success.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and rectify any deviations from project requirements.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Report on budget status and variances for the Project Manager.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients in the absence of the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction-related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
