Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal System Integration and Test Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Ground Radars & Platforms Center, you will be responsible for integrating hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality, and identifying and resolving issues through debugging and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality and impact of changes
  • Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging and data analysis
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, and communicate results
  • Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
  • Present findings and solutions to leadership and customers
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Travel to support mission execution at applicable facilities, test sites, vendors, and customer locations (10% travel expected)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with software, hardware, systems, and/or integration and test
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in integration labs, test facilities, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification
  • Experience with design, development, integration, and test of radar systems and software
  • Experience with digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management, and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management, and mission planning
  • Experience with hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and verification
  • Experience with test planning, test execution, and test reporting
  • Experience using DOORS or other requirements management tools
  • Experience supporting test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems
