About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Lead Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Requirements Lead Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Patriot program by collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes.
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results.
  • Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Travel to support mission execution at applicable facility, test site, vendor, and/or customer location, expected travel is 10%.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior experience.
  • Experience with systems, and/or integration & test.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the Patriot system working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
  • Experience with hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification.
  • Experience with test planning, test execution and test reporting.
  • Experience using DOORS or other requirements management tools.
  • Experience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems.
