Design Team Member

Kate Marker Interiors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Team Member to support our design projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our lead designers, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional design solutions within budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain our material libraries, ensuring seamless access to design resources.
  • Coordinate meetings with vendors to review new materials and products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in product pricing and proposal curation for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create and revise Keynote presentations to showcase design concepts and solutions.
  • Prepare and organize materials for client meetings, including print documents and samples.
  • Support lead designers during client meetings, taking notes and providing design insights.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create lighting elevations, check mirror sizes, and update floor plans.
  • Assist with client installations, ensuring a seamless and successful experience.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
  • Strong knowledge of the residential design industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, and KeyNote.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client projects and continuing education.
